Radiation Generating Machine Safety for Research Uses Training

The purpose of this self-paced, online course is to give basic radiation safety training for research uses of radiation generating machines such as x-ray diffraction units, x-ray irradiators, and electron microscopes. Topics covered include basic radiation safety, radiation biology, Qualified Expert survey requirements, and radiation dosimetry.

The course is available through Blackboard.  To register for this course, please complete the form below and allow up to 1-2 weeks for the course to appear on your Blackboard course list.  Upon logging into Blackboard, click on the “Radiation Safety Survey” link under your course list and follow the instructions provided to complete the course.
